The goal of Little Ruggers is to encourage more children aged between 3 and 5 years old to get into rugby and encourage a love and lifelong passion for the sport. Little Ruggers has been specifically designed to incorporate the core skills of Rugby to create a fun and enjoyable environment, whilst developing basic core motor skills and confidence.
As children move from being infants to toddlers they become more self-sufficient, wanting to explore their surroundings and affirm their independence. We encourage this by the way we structure our sessions so that they are both stimulating and exciting. Through a range of fun activities and using child friendly equipment our young learners will develop better hand to eye co-ordination, balance and agility and that in turn helps social development through the promotion of self-esteem.
All sessions are led by former Wales Rugby League International and current Doha RFC player Daniel Henderson.
