DELIGHT FOR OUR GIRLS- ONLY SOCCER TEAM, WHO ENTERTAIN DAVID BECKHAM ON QATAR NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
What an opportunity for our Girls-Only Soccer team members who joined 100 young women footballers assembled inside the Education City Stadium on Tuesday afternoon during Qatar National Sports Day.
It was the moment of a lifetime for our young female players, Angela Lentz, Estee Dhooghe, Trudy Beckett-McInroy, Hannah Anou Gabal, Khadua Ghaly, Sophie Kasky, Catarina Goncalves, Phoebe Beckett-McInroy, Eliza Bjorkhammer, Maryam Ghaly. It was also a great moment for coach Alex Lee, formerly the Evo Soccer girls-only team captain.

They got the opportunity to play in front of former England star David Beckham at the newly built Education City Stadium.
In a fun and exciting match, the Evo Soccer team finished runners up in the Women's Amateur Initiative competition in what was a competitive final against Qatar Sports Lab (Qatar National Ladies Team).
Well done to Hannah Anou Gabal, who received the Golden Boot award for best player and received an Adidas contract worth $6000 for equipment and exclusive access to events throughout 2022.
The Women's Amateur Initiative, the Grassroots Girls' and Educational Workshops was a partnership between QF, Generation Amazing and Adidas. Evolution Sports was excited to be a part of this fantastic opportunity.

Coach Alex Lee added, "As a former team captain of Evo Soccer girls-only team, it is an absolute pleasure to be coaching and developing the next generation of talented female soccer players here in Qatar.
The Women's Amateur Initiative is a fantastic opportunity for our players, and I am proud that all the hard work and dedication in training allowed them to showcase what they had learnt to progress to the final.
They played the 'Evo Way', and it was nice that our girls were praised for their attitude and sportsmanship throughout the tournament."
