Today marks the start of a new and exciting project between the UK based Steven Gerrard Academy (SGA) and Evolution Sports Qatar.
Both organisations have teamed up to create the ultimate Talent ID Camp for players aged 14-18 who have future aspirations of playing football internationally, progressing into the professional game or simply taking their knowledge to the next level.
The 2-day camp is set to take place on Friday and Saturday, May 20th & 21st 2022 at Doha College’s state-of-the-art Al Wajba campus.
The SGA camp will be headed up by former professional footballers Michael Wilde and Danny Harrison who have both played in the UEFA Champions League. Harrison and Wilde will fly to Qatar from the U.K to impart their wealth of knowledge on the young players in attendance.
Using the academies sports science approach, players will enjoy cutting edge practices on the pitch and off it they will access workshops in nutrition, video analysis and strength and conditioning.
