ABOUT EVO SWIMMING

We are proud to have developed one of the most respected swimming schools in Qatar. Opened in 2012 by a former Doha College student and two time Olympian, Nada Arakji, and the British ambassador Michael O’Neill, the school offers outstanding training and development as well as a very family friendly environment for all ages and abilities.  Take a look at our programmes to see what works for you.

LEARN TO SWIM

Learn to swim does exactly what it says! Aimed at those between 4 and 11 years, the programme introduces confidence and swimming techniques in a friendly and safe environment. We assess everyone to ensure they are in an appropriate ability group, and each child will receive all the relevant inspiration and support. We offer eight different levels providing sessions for complete beginners through to intermediate swimmers. All our groups run twice a week, following a tried and tested technical curriculum delivered by our highly qualified coaches.

THE ACADEMY

The Evo Swim Academy has developed over recent years, now with over 50 members training between 3 to 6 times per week and regularly competing in swim meets across Doha. Our focus is to provide a high-performance environment to develop techniques and help our swimmers reach their full potential. Swimmers in the academy will learn about all aspects of the sport from our highly qualified coaches, including race strategies, nutrition, sport psychology and land-based training.

SWIMFIT

Aimed at teen swimmers who have completed Learn to Swim but do not wish to participate in our competitive academy programme. SWIMFIT is the perfect place for swimmers to continue developing their technique, endurance, and speed in a more relaxed environment. Sessions run twice a week to help these swimmers continue their love of the sport and keep fit without the highly pressured competitive atmosphere.
